THE RETURN OF GRUNGE

After going through some quite intersting shows of NYFW, LFW and PFW (so far), it 

was too obvious - A/W 15 Smells like Teen Spirit somehow! And I can't be happier 

about this (return) résumé if you ask me! 

After the strong influence of Fifty Shades of Grey we're all lusting to show up our 

darker side this fall! I've always been an admirer of punk elements and 

"I don't care" - subcultures, the Kurt Cubain-esque plaid, oversizing, worn off and 

ripped gear! And let's be honest at that point -  all of you have at least one piece in 

your closet which might satisfy these criteria. 

But before your run to occupy your wardrobe - watch out! This trend gonna be 

different this season: It's Wang, Lim and Tisci who surprised us with a mix of goth 

and grunge by using opulently textured fabrics like velvet, mesh, tweed, silk and 

mohair. Which color(s) is out of the question of course!

says Lim. Some might say it's a rebellion, others it's a reaction of the missing 

commecial sucess. But one thing is certain: 

It's better to burn out than to fade away!!!"
