What be Bonnie without her Clyde?
What be Kim without her Instas?
And what be Homer without his Duff beer?
They all need something to keep going!
So what be this world without music and its musicians? Right. Nothing.
It's hardly suprising that music is a substantial part of the fashion industry.
It's everywhere: on fashion shows, in a Chanel boutique or supermarket since
music influences the buying behavior of the customers or serves as inspiration
of designers. There's no question about the symbiosis of an artist and these creative
minds - it always have been! Just remember the Grunge and Hippie era!
Which are both still omnipresent!
These are some of the formative cooperations:
KARL LAGERFELD & PHARELL WILLIAMS
Lagerfeld says: "There's a touch of Pop Art in it." The short movie entitled
"Reincarnation" sees Cara Delevigne and Pharrell Williams take a waltz in
traditional costume as Sissi & Franzl.
OLIVIER ROUSTEING & RIHANNA
"She is the new Madonna!", so Rousteing. It's no secret that these two have long
enjoyed a symbiotic relationship.
ALEXANDER WANG & KANYE WEST
The designer love to sorround himself with singers and artists.
This guy knows how to promote his brand!
To quote genius.com: "Wang's menswear is currently hot property among
fashion enthusiasts, the monotoned, goth style is trending as of late -
a trend which Kanye helped create."
LADY GAGA & DONATELLA VERSACE
Guess Gaga's song "Donatella" says it all - a very deep friendship of these two "twins".

I like these kinds of collaborations between designers and musicians! All of them have a very strong sense of style, like it or hate it, they tend to have everyone talking about their outfits. Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace do look like twinnies, btw!! ;)
