LINEAR GEOMETRY OF PARIS

  The different sides of Paris
HQ of L'Oréal,  Rue Martre in Clichy

Can you tell my love for linear geometry here? It's obivous, the
architecture of Paris, especially the metal bars and handrails left me quite
inspired. And so the interior of our minimalistic artsy hotel "Holiday Inn".

The view of sleeping Paris from Basilica Sacré-Cœur

Paris is full of differences, it has so much to offer and I wish I could tell you it
screams fashion from every corner, I wish I could tell you the glamour of the pompous
era and its grand dames were in the air when we've reached it. Unfortunately this was
not the case...

That's why my split love gave me the idea to look at this city of fashion and design
under the aspect of its history which I'm gonna explain in my Versailles post
next week. Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen!

Happy Sunday!

  3. I do understand that Paris (as with many other metropolitan areas such as New York and London) are highly romanticised, but I do hope that you still had an amazing time at Paris. I cannot wait for your Versailles post! Also, there is just something about linear geometry, huh? Really, just geometry in general. Symmetry, too, like in the photo of the train station entrance is absolutely delightful! Lovely photos, Ira, and have a great Sunday!

  8. These photos make me miss Paris so much! It's really interesting how there are different parts to it, not everywhere is so calm and "stereotypical" - I was surprised at how rural and suburbian it looked on the RER in from CDG airport.

  15. Thank you very much. I definitely want to show everyone that a man can handle and there is no harm in that. In fact, it is good to do because nobody will do it for them. :D

Do you want to participate in the challenge? All you have to do is take a picture of the products you use on your morning routine and identify me on instagram (mgouveiaa) or send the facebook page. I want to prepare a different dynamic here to the blog :D
