These fantastic and innovative photographs are taken by the aerial and landscape photographer Joseph Ford. The London based artist created in a collabo the harmonious combination of nature and fashion. I tend to associate so much with Joseph's creative work, not only that inspiration is everywhere, like I mentioned here but also Coco Chanel's thought provoking quote:
"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only,
fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do
with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."
Coco's last words are a great transition into another association of mine,
namely Close the Loop, a recycling campaign currently running by H&M.
Did you know that fashion is the third most polluting industry in the world after oil and agriculture? Me either!
So instead of bying the 101 white shirt (guilty as charged) we should overthink our shopping habits and recycle our clothes first.
Don't you agree?
These are incredible; I cannot get over the ripped jeans and clouds one. And yes, recycling clothes for the win! Thank you for sharing such great art as usual, Ira! Have a lovely Sunday! <3

I agree with recycling our old clothes-- i think fashion is always there-- there is something that came back from history like what we have right now-- the trends from the past are taking charge in the limelight right now-- what just we actually do is that we innovate and add some accessories and anything that will make it unique.
ReplyDeleteLove his idea :)

This is so extremely cool to see.
ReplyDeleteWe should indeed try to recycle our clothes,
how incredibly attractive that new shirt may seem.

Those photos are very well done, I would be so curious as tot he process, I wonder if the clothes or the landscapes came first? Interesting thoughts! :)
ReplyDeleteI think recycling and reusing is a great way to cut down on the impact from fashion, and I buy a lot second hand. Especially now I work part time and have some more time on my hands!

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing, the images are stunning and the message is awesome. It's our responsibility to look after our world, but at the same time, as we do so, we can still look hella chic ;) I always make sure to donate my old clothes but I'm going to look more into where I buy my clothes from too, make sure it's all ethical. Great post, Ira, have a great week! :)x
