THE PERFECT SOUL OF J BRAND'S JEANS

DENIM...
I tried so many brands, Hugo Boss, Diesel, Citizens of  Humanity and 7 for All Mankind just to name a few, are permanent guests in the back of my closet. But for almost 5 years now the starring role played and still plays my perfect jeans by J Brand. Why? Let me tell you 5 things which convinced me to get a pair by this high quality brand.

Durable / J Brand uses innovative fabrics as such as Lyocell, Modal and Spandex to make sure their jeans are very durable and most flattering. I've picked 26" back in the days and they're still true to size since they don't strech out.

Essential/ I'm a sucker for anything minimalistic, even when it comes to jeans. The clean stitching and the smooth look are to be frank the main reasons, why I've finally gotten a pair of J Brand's '811' skinny jeans collection.

"Denim is a great fabric, you know, it's got soul. You wash it, it ages. Jeans are a way of life today - you can look really smart and cool wearing them. They're unlike any other piece of clothing you own."

Nice/ I don't know about you ladies, but I'm not a fan of having labels on the butt so in case you're with me - choose understatement and classiness for a nice and clean apperance.

Investment / If you wear jeans on a regular basis, it makes sense to splurge on something that will last right?!
Just think about Cost Per Wear and do the math!

Many-sid(z)ed / Depending on the model you choose, J Brand has a great range for petite and taller girls.

"And the way people dress denim? Look at how you're wearing it. It's unique to you. You can really create something that is original to yourself with a pair of jeans."

  1. What a great brand, Ira! Honestly speaking, I prefer wearing skirts and dresses more so than jeans, but I have been meaning to invest in a good pair of jeans for a loooong time. I'm all for durable ones!

Especially the fact that they cater to different heights and don't use the back side as an advertisement board (ugh, I hate it when the back pockets are full of unnecessary crap!). I find it hard to find the jeans that fit...fortunately, cropped jeans became popular so I just pretend that jeans I buy were mean to be a few inches shorter! This sounds like a great brand, thank you for introducing us with it.

I love denim, as you probably know, I'm addicted to it. I always find J Brand jeans so high up on the back pockets though and not flattering on my butt. Have you tried FRAME Denim? Their Le Skinny de Jeanne is amazing! The details are minimal, plain, just like J Brand, but their quality and back pocket placement is PERFECT in every way! I prefer FRAME to J Brand and I've tried every brand there is. I'd love to know what your thoughts are on them!

  59. Such an awesome post! I don't own a pair of J Brands, but have been eyeing a few and your review helped me in deciding that I will have to buy a pair. I have a lot of 7 jeans and I love them, but it can be a challenge finding a good style for my picky taste. The fit is perfect for me, but sometimes they tend to go a little overboard with their stitching, but that's my only complaint :) I also love the quotes you shared :)

  70. I've never had a pair of jeans from a brand other than American Eagle, maybe it's time I upgrade! I have to say, what's been keeping me loyal to the one brand is how they have such great stretch, and I don't need to constantly pull them up or adjust. Denim is a great investment though, as I wear jeans almost daily in the colder months.
